hi i am making my first website. I am making it from scratch and the client wishes it to be made in wordpress, and the previous wizard is the author’s of the company that made it to order. And I would like to know how to set up a wordpress website with a domain that is registered in that previous website?

I’d backup the previous site with a backup tool like WPVivid just so you have the original to fall back on in case anything goes wrong. Be sure to always test the backup on a temporary domain to make sure it is functional. Then I’d create another temp domain and build the website on that temp domain. If your client approves of the design (you can share with them the temp domain’s url), migrate it over to the existing domain using WPVivid.
You can use stock Gutenberg or pay for a website builder (Divi, Elementor, Bakery Builder etc) if you aren’t experienced with coding. Good luck!
