Smush plugin conflict with AIOS

AIOS – https://wordpress.org/plugins/all-in-one-wp-security-and-firewall/

I use AIOS for all my website firewalls but recently decided to start using Smush because I like WPMU DEV's plugins. I keep getting a loopback error causing the plugin to not work (won't compress any images) and found that AIOS is causing the conflict. As soon as I disable AIOS, Smush works fine.

Any suggestions? I can't seem to find any settings related to loopback/whitelisting this in AIOS.
