Hi all!
Been working as a copywriter / webeditor for years in AEM. I’d like to start building webpages for my own as a sidehustle, and I’m wondering which pagebuilder comes closes to AEM in functionality and UI? I’ve seen quite a lot of video’s already regarding stuff like Blocky, Bricks, Divi, Elementor and Beaver Builder. Truth be told, the more I read about them the more I’m confused which one is actually good. There are so many opinions on which one is ‘best’.

Hi! There is a lot of overlap in the functionality of the different builder tools. We always encourage people to give a few a try and see which one feels like a good fit.
Along with free versions, almost all of us have a 15-30 day no-questions-asked refund policy. You could also poke around the different community groups and see which one you like. At Beaver Builder, we have very active [Facebook group](https://www.facebook.com/groups/beaverbuilders/).
Hope that helps. 🙂 Good luck!
AEM?
Learn Gutenberg Editor and block patterns.
Based on the preview video I’ll agree with r/BeaverBuilderTeam that the Beaver Builder system (builder, themer addon, plus extra modules from PowerPack or possibly UABB) is closest to AEM.
Specifically, Beaver Builder (also Elementor and Divi) are *front-end* editors with a graphics-tool approach that’s more intuitive to graphic designers. Blocky, Bricks, and the Gutenberg blocks system are back-end editors with a more non-visual, code/run/debug/rerun approach that’s comfortable and familiar to programmers.
If you have at least a minor in computer science you’ll appreciate Gutenberg and other code-oriented editors, if you’ve got at least a minor in graphic design or marketing you’ll appreciate a visual builder like Beaver Builder.
