WP Neophyte Desperately Needs Help

Hi,

I work for a nonprofit and we paid a company to revamp our website. Aesthetically, it's lovely, but the functionality leaves something to be desired. I have been tasked with fixing it, but I don't really know what I'm doing because my skills are rudimentary at best and everything the company did used Oxygen. I can't leave the site as-is; e-mails are going to the wrong addresses, some of the text on the site has the wrong information, it's full of stock photos instead of the ones we provided…honestly it's kind of a shitshow.

I thought I could easily edit it, just swap out the photos and e-mails etc., but I am finding that impossible. Trying to use Oxygen as a layperson is like stumbling around in the dark and occasionally tripping over something that might be useful if only you could find a light switch.

I really don't want to throw good money after bad (we already paid a hefty sum for this shoddy work) and ultimately we really just need it fixed ASAP.

No, the original designer is not an option (for myriad reasons – not the least of which being that this hellish revamp took over a year to "complete").

Where can I go to find help for this? I have watched some YouTube videos and read tutorials and I have made very little progress. Can anyone point me in the direction of something that might be helpful to bridge the gap in my knowledge enough to make this website useful? Or even tell me what terms to use to search??

We serve the unsheltered population and winter is coming swiftly – it would be nice if our website was a place where people could go for *useful* information re: warming centers, donations, etc. Thank you in advance for any advice!
